AlertMe + IFTTT

Post by BobbyBrownPants »

Anyone looking into IFTTT AlertMe integration?

Would love to be able to set 'night' and 'home' times. Also might be useful when on holiday to have the lights come on and off in no particular order. In between sunset and sunrise.

I've already created an: If new Gmail arrives from alertme@alertme.com then send to Pushover as a priority message. (Pushover priority messages automatically override silence mode on your phone)

Could be a useful little tool.

I came into AlertMe via the non-subscription route, so I just hadn't clicked that you could so this via email. IFTTT would be perfect for this. Great thinking!
Alerty - you could control your AlertMe system with my third-party app for iPhone and iPod Touch. Used to be available on iTunes!

You can only have one forwarding address in IFTTT though, can't you? Do you have the alertme@alertme.com address set as that?
