Cheap smart home plugs – same quality?

Post by Bernadiner13 »

Hi guys,
I found these smart home plugs (I need to put this link because there is no brand name: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B078ZGZKHY/ ... UTF8&psc=1). You can buy here 3 Smart home Plugs for £ 29 but why are they so cheap compare to others? Some brands want for one home plug £ 25.
Could u explain this to me? Because according to the reviews, the smart home plugs are good. And if they are not good, we just can send them back.

They'll be very mass produced and engineered down to that price; whether that means they've reduced the quality in the process, I have no idea without having one to use and take apart. But you're right - the best way with Amazon is usually to buy, try and return if they don't suit your needs. I've never had any trouble getting full refunds for equipment I've trialled like that through Amazon. If you can, give them a whirl and let us know if they're any good!
Alerty - you could control your AlertMe system with my third-party app for iPhone and iPod Touch. Used to be available on iTunes!
